Dup Detector is a free, automatic tool to detect and delete duplicate images from your hard drive. The program compares the pixels of the images one by one, so that its reliability is without doubt. The margin of error is tiny.

The limits for an image to be considered duplicate (tolerance, percentage of repeated pixels) can be fixed by the user, and they can also choose which if the repeated images is to be deleted (there are two modes: automatic and semi-automatic).
